Sorry The Term Is misogynist
George Bush's grandfather, the late US senator Prescott Bush, was a director and shareholder of companies that profited from their involvement with the financial backers of Nazi Germany.
The Guardian has obtained confirmation from newly discovered files in the US National Archives that a firm of which Prescott Bush was a director was involved with the financial architects of Nazism.
“Some seem to believe that we should negotiate with the terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along,” Mr. Bush said. “We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: “Lord, if I could only have talked to Hitler, all this might have been avoided.” We have an obligation to call this what it is — the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history.”
Why talk with Nazis when you can cut a profit with them?
I'm sorry that one of the word's connotations is misogynist, but the word that best describes George Bush is pussy.

- My only consciously misogynistic attacks on Hillary Clinton was wishing that the first major woman candidate for president wasn't Hillary Clinton but a truly independent - as in, not dynastic, as in not CLINTON INC tool - woman.
- Have you told John Edwards to fuck off today, the gutless coward. (A dissenting opinion on Edwards.)

Eno's birthday notwithstanding, this song's in my head, be in yours:

Alas, my long-ago nest was located on the street named after the university that turned down an invitation to be part of the Ivy League, Rutgers Street. These are are townhouses that were built on the site of the old Rockpile Drive-in where my older brother took me & my Elric 7 to see cheap double features & drink mass quantities of Coke while eating scores of Slim Jims. I think the hole in my stomach has healed. After the theater closed it turned into a convenient place to drink (just across the street from a beer & wine carryout!). These young 'uns got no respect for tradition, I tell ya!
Some truly tasty music samples the last few days, & it's not even MFMFMFMFMF! I do loves me some Le Tigre (though I would love them even more with an "accent accute"). Have you innoculated Planet with Eno yet? Oh, no porn in the Manly Book List? Pussies....

What better time than now for Edwards to endorse?

Before the NC and Indiana primaries, when he actually risked something.
As I said, yours is a dissenting voice, which I posted out of respect, not snark.
And HH, as soon as you said that I saw where you're talking about, behind that crappy little shopping center across from Saah (or what was once Saah).
I got confused b/c you lived off College Pkwy, more specifically Yale. (Hah, Landru, I said Yale!)
Which doesn't mean you shouldn't stop dealing drugs out of your house to Churchill students.

I gave up on the 100 books after the first 20 included Bluebeard, Call of the Wild, For Whom The Bell Tolls, and Atlas Shrugged. Now I'm going to go scrape my eyes.
Thanks for the shout. And Biden? Some days he's a putz and some days he's bold and bright and admirable. The problem is that I never know which one will turn up today.
It's still the Saah shopping center even without Saah. But there is that place that advertises using "Captain Happy" who says that you're better off with a knife.

I think it's perfect timing, and when Gore endorses after Obama's loss in Kentucky, it'll all make sense.

What, Richard Montgomery is not good enough for these moh-rahns? Sasha is, of course, correct-- it is still "Saah Plaza." The Northview Deli, where my Elric 7 worked & was robbed at gunpoint twice by the same dude, is now a Cuban carryout. The Cameron's Fish Shack is highly recommended, though.
Finally, how can we harvest the one-quarter of Joe Biden's brain that is brilliant & dump all of the other rubbish?

"Finally, how can we harvest the one-quarter of Joe Biden's brain that is brilliant & dump all of the other rubbish?"
Selective hair-pluggery.
