Obamapologia, or: Abandoning Gimmick is Admitting Gimmick Gimmick
Last night on News Hour Democratic elder and super-delegate David Bonier re-endorsed Obama but complained of Obama's sudden and mysterious lack of passion.
The issue isn't what's being done to Obama, the issue is what's being done by Obama. He broke kayfabe: his swerve is now just gimmick.
I break no kayfabe proclaiming my congenital rubiness for spiritual markdom, and Obama no longer amuses me. That's on me.

- Diminishing obamaspell doesn't mean diminishing hillaryhate, btw.
- Just in time, Terry McCauliffe reminds me of my fear of the Clorg. Lanny Davis too. BTW, when considering sycophants like McCauliffe and Davis, beyond whatever influence they think they might have if there's another Clinton administration, think how much potential money there is for both from Fox to get them to turn Dick Morris on another Clinton administration.
- Speaking of the Clorg, would it surprise you to discover empirical research discovers the Clorg's big state bullshit is bullshit?
- Pastor Gerson says McCain shit-fits are moral because, well, just because. He doesn't even try, the Pastor.
- Remember I asked why this past Monday? Because of this yesterday.
- A favorite poet has a new book.

He was then privately executed at the Tower on 28 July 1540. It is said that Henry VIII intentionally chose an inexperienced executioner -- the teenager made three attempts at chopping Cromwell's head before he succeeded. After execution his head was boiled and then set upon a spike on London Bridge—facing away from the City of London.
Excellent!
